1,简介：
The 5102e is a low profile PCI Expresssynchronous serial interface that provides a single channel configurable forRS-232, RS-422, RS-485, RS-530, RS-530A or V.35. In RS-232 mode, all commonmodem control signals are implemented for compatibility with a wide range ofperipherals. A digital phase lock loop (DPLL) is included and the boardsupports data rates up to 128K bps in burst mode.
Designed using the popular Zilog Z85230Enhanced Serial Communication Controller (ESCC), the synchronous serial adapteris an ideal solution for applications including DDS (digital data service),military applications, banking communications, and other specializedapplications. Our Software toolkit is included to aid software driverdevelopment for other operating systems by providing programming samples andsource code to shorten development time. Terminal blocks, adapter cables andother helpful accessories are available to simplify installation.
Software support, critical for successfulsynchronous communication development, is provided through Sealevel's SeaMACsynchronous serial driver. HDLC/SDLC protocols are supported as well as certainconfigurations of Monosync, Bi-sync and Raw modes.
The 5102e is compatible with any lowprofile PCI Express slot. If you have a standard size PCI Express slot, be sureto select the standard profile bracket.

简介：The 5104e low profile PCI Express serial interface provides onehigh-speed synchronous serial port configurable for RS-232, RS-422, RS-485,RS-530, RS-530A or V.35. In RS-232 mode, all common modem control signals areimplemented for compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. Additionalserial interfaces are provided by a variety of optional cable accessories.
The board utilizes a Zilog® Z16C32 Integrated Universal Serial Controller(IUSC™) with on-chip DMA controller and 32-byte FIFO buffer coupled with 256Kof on board memory, that allows burst data rates to 10 Mbps. The DMA controllersupports single buffer, pipelined, array and link list data transfer modes.These features make the 5104e ideal for wide area network (WAN) connectivity,radar, telemetry and other high-speed serial applications.
Software support, critical for successful synchronous communicationdevelopment, is provided through Sealevel'sSeaMACsynchronous serial driver. HDLC/SDLC protocols are supported as well as certain configurations of Monosync, Bi-syncand Raw modes. Existing customers of the PCI version simply need to update tothe latest SeaMAC software driver to ensure their application will continue tooperate as expected. The 5104e includes an optional OEM security feature that preventsunauthorized boards from being used in an application.
The 5104e is compatible with any low profile PCI Express slot. If you have astandard size PCI Express slot, be sure to select the standard profile bracket.
